Mavens Overview

The Wynn Hotel is top-notch in every way, as are its peers at Bellagio and Venetian. Which of these three top-notch hotels you choose is largely a matter of personal taste. Not surprisingly, Wynn Hotel is often compared to Bellagio, since Steve Wynn is the man responsible for building both Hotels.

Choosing among Wynn, Bellagio and Venetian often reduces to the following choices. Bellagio wins for location, often designated the center point of the Strip. Venetian wins for those that want a standard room that feels more like a suite since the living room area is sunken down from the bedroom area. Wynn wins for its reputation of hiring the best of the best to staff its hotel.

The rooms are large, 640 square feet is the smallest room size, tastefully and elegantly furnished. The bathrooms are spacious and include a separate large soaking tub and shower stall, plus a flat screen television. The only thing missing, as is true in the other top-notch hotels, is an in-room coffee pot. You have to go considerably more down-scale, like Casino Royale, to get a coffee pot in the room.

As expected, most of the buzz about Wynn is more than favorable. Perhaps only those with unreasonable expectations will be disappointed at Wynn.

Internet Buzz

I love staying at The Wynn. The rooms are spacious, smartly decorated in a comfortable, subtly elegant style, but most definitely not W-ish. They even put a piece of art in the water closet. Very comfy beds for the 4 hours of sleep a night that you're going to get. Remote controls for the window shades.

it is beautiful and clearly superior to all the other hotels we visited such as Bellagio, Caesar's Palace and M Resort. Steve Wynn knows how to build and run a hotel. The decor and the atmosphere is just beyond amazing.

I would give the room 4.5 stars - I was expecting much much more after staying at every hotel on the strip except Wynn/Encore. The room quality is about the same to the rooms at the Venetian... in terms of square footage, MGM Signature or Venetian will be a much better deal because you will either get a mini kitchen or living room area. Bathrooms are about the same...

The bathtub here though did not have the jacuzzi feature like the rooms at the MGM signature do. The products were definitely very good - which makes sense since they are by Lather. They also have really nice towels and comfy beds. The furniture is very Vegas-like - plus chairs and soft, chic furniture.

The room has 2 full sized beds. Nope, not queen -- full beds.

Pillows so soft that I fell asleep the minute my head hit them.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand it has some of the best rooms in Vegas on the other, the customer service is very hit and miss.

The hotel feels a little bit cramped when you first enter -- we are used to swooping Vegas lobby displays -- and the reception area is impractically proportioned, resulting in some check-in wait issues.

Next time I'll definitely be staying at the Wynn rather than at the Venetian. Every little detail about this place is awesome. The service personnel was very well trained in every outlet of this place. All food, all services we received were absolutely top notch.

the hotel is gorgeous, inside and outside, great mix of modern and luxurious styling. The room was amazing, high ceilings, beautiful view, dream bathroom, big plasma TV (and a small in the bathroom)...Staff is great, everyone from front desk to bell boy to housekeeping to the dealers.... by the way, compared to all the other hotels the staff is way better looking here.

All I have to say is I like the Bellagio better.  The decor and layout isn't quite my vibe but it is non the less and awesome place to stay.

YOU DONT ALLOW PEOPLE WHO ARENT STAYING AT YOUR HOTEL TO USE STROLLERS IN YOUR HOTEL! HOW LAME CAN YOU BE?

The rooms are posh and elegant. There's a comfortable bed with high quality linens. We had a corner room with 2 wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom has a huge soaking tub and a large shower. It really just does not get better than this.

Room is large, with much-appreciated floor-to-ceiling views... deeply comfortable beds with high-thread-count sheets and feather beds atop good-quality mattresses plus down comforters, flat screen TVs, and excellent bathrooms with quite long and deep tubs and their own flat screen TVs
